DUSHANBE, June 14, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon today morning left for the Sughd province to familiarize himself with a progress of implementation of president’s decrees and government’s resolutions as well as socioeconomic development of the region, presidential press service reported.  

During his stay in Sughd, President Rahmon is expected to meet with heads of cities and districts of the province as well as representatives from various sections of local society.  

President Rahmon is also scheduled to visit Mastchoh, Bobojonghafurov, Isfara, Konibodom and a number of other districts in northern Tajikistan to familiarize himself with state of agrarian, industrial, as well as educational and cultural facilities there.  

The visit will end with a meeting with local authorities to sum up Sughd’s socioeconomic results I January-May and determine tasks for future, according to presidential press service.
