DUSHANBE, June 15, Asia-Plus – A 23-year-old resident of Dushanbe has been arrested on suspicion of having been involved in drug trafficking.

Press service of Tajikistan’s Drug Control Agency (DCA) said that he was detained yesterday and a package containing marijuana was confiscated from him.  When searching his home, the drug control officers found another 20 kilograms of marijuana.  

Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
