DUSHANBE, July 17, Asia-Plus — An official ceremony of opening of the Center for Tajik Studies at the National Firdavsi Library in Dushanbe at the end of last week.  

The source at the Firdavsi Library said that the Center is dedicated to unite all scientific resources for thorough study and propaganda of cultural heritage of the Tajik people.  

According to him, the library will launch its own website in the near future that will allow enlisting the services of ethnic Tajiks living abroad.  The Center also plans to organize literary seminars for youth once a week.  During these seminars, they will meet with known Tajik poets, writers and other cultural figures of the country.
