DUSHANBE, August 31, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon is expected to pay one-day working visit to the Rasht district in eastern Tajikistan tomorrow, presidential press service said.  

 During his stay in Rasht, Rahmon will visit the tremor-hit area.  He is also expected to participate in inauguration of a new school in the district.  

We will recall that the earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale hit a number of villages in the Rasht district on June 22, at around 03:344 a.m., killing 3 boys from one family.  207 residential buildings were destroyed completely and more than 1,000 other houses were damage partially by the tremor.  More than 1,500 people were left homeless
