According to him, Gustov is expected to tell journalists about goals and objectives of the forum.  “Besides, the sides are supposed to exchange views on issues related to improvement of legal foundation of Tajik-Russian cooperation in various fields,” the press secretary said.

The second Russian-Tajik parliamentary forum will be held in Moscow and Orienburg on September 17-18.  The forums aims to seek new efficient mechanisms of implementation of various agreements concluded between Tajikistan and Russia.

The first Tajik-Russian parliamentary forum that was held in Dushanbe on August 24-26 last year paved the way for further expansion of cooperation between the regions of the two countries.  The first inter-parliamentary forum resulted in signing of 19 protocols, two treaties, five agreements and five memoranda.
