DUSHANBE, September 6, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s law enforcement and power-wielding structures have tightened security control measures to ensure security and public order during celebrations during the Independence Day, which is marked on September 9, Asia-Plus has learned t the Ministry of Interior.

The source at a MoI said that all facilities of statewide importance and public places have been taken under strict control of police.  The tightened security control measures will be effective from today and lasting through September 10, according to the source.  

The border service said that they have also tightened control of border and border crossing points..
