DUSHANBE, September 7, Asia-Plus — On Friday September 7, President Emomali Rahmon met with a group of journalists of Turkey’s news agency Zaman, magazine DA and TV channel Mahtab, presidential press service said.  

The meeting focused on a role of Mawlana Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi in development of world civilization, his humanistic ideas, different aspects of domestic and foreign policy of Tajikistan, as well as prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey.  

Speaking to Turkish journalists, President Rahmon stressed that Tajikistan has been and will be support of peaceful settlement of any conflicts and strongly condemned any attempts of attributing the activities of terrorist and extremist forces to the Muslim people.
