DUSHANBE, September 19, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Council of Veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 is expected to hold its second plenum in Dushanbe on September 21.

The deputy Council chairman, Vali Sayorabekov, said in an interview with Asia-Plus that the plenum will focus on medical services rendered to the war veterans.

According to him, senior representatives from the ministries of health, defense  and labor will attend the plenum.  “We plan to bring the issue of increasing an amount of the so-called “free prescription” for veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 to the country’s authorities,” said Sayorabekov.
