DUSHANBE, September 25, Asia-Plus — More than 300 local and foreign correspondents have been accredited to cover summit meetings of the CIS, the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) that will be held in the Tajik capital on October 5-6, presidential press service said.    

To provide on-line coverage of these events a single news center will be established in the new building of the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).  The news center will be provided with the state-of-the-art equipment, international telephone line, etc.  

News conference with participation of leaders of the CIS states will be held in presidential residency in Dushanbe.    

 According to the Tajik MFA, leaders of all 12 CIS states are expected to attend the Dushanbe CIS summit, which aims to consider some 20 issues, including the CIS development concept and the plan of actions on implementation of it.  

The projected concept provides for further evolutional development of the Commonwealth of Independent States as well as economic and political integration of the CIS member nations.
