DUSHANBE, September 27, Asia-Plus — Tajik Defense Minister, Colonel-General Sherali Khairulloyev, is leaving today for the Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek to attend a session of the council of defense ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) that will open in the Kyrgyz capital on September 28, Asia-Plus has learned at the Tajik Defense Ministry (MoD).  

The meeting is aiming to discuss measures taken to ensure implementation of interstate documents, resolutions of the Collective Security Council and intensification of work in this direction, the source at a MoD said.  

The meeting participants are also expected to consider issues related to military construction within the CSTO area over the past two years.  

The CSTO secretary general Nikolai Bordyuzha is also attending the meeting in Bishkek.
