DUSHANBE, October 22, Asia-Plus – Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan have reached an agreement on expansion of scientific cooperation among the three states, Iran”s Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki remarked Saturday while talking to reporters at the end of a trilateral meeting held between Iranian, Afghan and Tajik foreign ministers in Herat, Afghanistan.

According to him, Iran-Afghanistan-Tajikistan trilateral meeting on anti-drug campaign and cooperation in the areas of energy and transportation is to be held in Kabul in the next few months.

Afghan Foreign Minister Rangeen Dadfar Spanta said that Kabul had no evidence that the Iranian government was seeking to overthrow the Afghan government.

“The Afghan government has no document to prove that the Iranian government is helping the dissidents of the Afghan government,” Spanta reiterated.

He further appreciated the Islamic Republic of Iran”s aid in reconstructing his country.
