DUSHANBE, November 7, Asia-Plus  — Twenty volunteers of Tajikistan’s Red Crescent Society (RCS) from the Sughd province have been trained in methods of reunification of families during and after emergency situations, Madina Sayfiddinova, an information officer with RCS, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.  

According to her, the training for workers and volunteers of the city and district branches of RCS in northern Tajikistan was conducted in Khujand on November 6.  The training is part of the RCS-run Family Unification Program,

The training participants also were also informed of new aspects of the programs for raising awareness of international humanitarian law and providing medical and humanitarian aid to victims of conflicts, the information officer said.
