DUSHANBE, November 12, Asia-Plus  — Tajik customs officers have seized nearly 1 kilogram of heroin at the Dushanbe airport, a source at the Tajik Customs Service told Asia-Plus on Monday.   

An inspection of passengers on the Dushanbe-Kazan (Russia) flight from Tajikistan on November 10  found 925 grams of heroin hidden on the body of one of passengers, the source said.  

Criminal proceeding have been instituted against the drug courier and an investigation is under way.
