DUSHANBE, November 16, Asia-Plus  — Tajik delegation took part at the 2nd forum of the CIS creative and scientific intelligentsia that was held in Astana, Kazakhstan on November 12-13.  

Deputy Culture Minister Faroghat Azizova told Asia-Plus that the Tajik delegation led by Saidmurod Fattoyev, State Adviser to the President for Social Development and Public relations, had consisted of senior representatives from education ministry, chancellors of the Dushanbe higher educational institutions and heads of creative units.

According to her, the forum ended with adoption of a general resolution “on sectional directions of development of culture, cinema, painting, science and education.”

The main objective of the conference was to discuss ways of creating a common cultural space within the CIS area and promoting development of culture and science in the CIS states, the deputy minister said.              

             The next forum is scheduled to be held in Tajikistan next year, Azizova said.
