DUSHANBE, November 29, Asia-Plus — Four members of Tajikistan’s Central Commission for Elections and Referenda (CCER) along with representatives from other countries will observe elections to Russia’s State Duma (Russia’s lower chamber of parliament)  of the fifth convocation that will be held on December 2.  

According to CCER, the CCER deputy chairman Misrob Kabirov, the CCER member Odina Murodov, the CCER chief specialist Ahliddin Bouriyev and Nargis Bozorova of president’s office will join 145 other observers to monitor the voting and poll process.     

Some Russian media report that 49 observers from the CIS states, 43 from OSCE and 57 from the European Union will monitor the voting and poll process in the Russian Federation.
