DUSHANBE, November 29, Asia-Plus — The 11th grade student at Tajik-Russian Lyceum “Hotam&PV” Firdavs Nouriddinzoda has won International Sports Programming Internet Olympiad.
Sports programming it is a term to denote contest organized among computer programmers who are not applied specialists.
The lyceum principal Abdufattoh Hotamov said that some 1,500 computer programmers from 20 countries had taken part in the electronic Sports Programming Olympiad competition that had been held over the Internet.
The competition participants included not only school students, but also teachers and students from higher educational institutions, the principal said.
“Firdavs did 180 problems and with 6,514 scores took the first place, Hotamov said, noting that the Sports Programming Internet Olympiad is conducted “Computer Programmer School” Project run by Palace of Pupils in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk.
