DUSHANBE, December 5, Asia-Plus — On December 3, officers from the GBAO counternarcotics directorate discovered a drug cache near the village of Darmorakht in GBAO’s Shugnan district, the Drug Control Agency (DCA) said.
The source at the Tajik counternarcotics agency said that more than one kilogram of cannabis and 42 grams of raw opium had been extracted from the hide.
The same day, a resident of the Malvuch village in the Ishkashim district was detained on suspicion of having been involved in drug pushing. 1.5 kilograms of raw opium were confiscated from him.
