DUSHANBE, December 14, Asia-Plus — The Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF) has carried out the chartable action on occasion of the upcoming holidays of Idi Qurbon and New Year. 

According to the Tajik Branch of OSI/AF, they carry out a large-scale charitable action for vulnerable children and female convicts in Dushanbe, Khatlon, Sughd and districts subordinate to the center (RRPs) every year.  

Yesterday, they visited the Chorbogh orphanage, which is house for 100 children with physical disabilities aged 6 to 16.  Hygienic kits, and various presents were given to them.  

Besides, presents were also given to 75 pupils at the Dushanbe boarding school for partially sighted children and 280 orphan children from the Shahrinav boarding school.  

The Tajik Branch of OSI/AF also donated textbooks on the Tajik and Russian languages for primary school to the Qumsangir boarding school in Khatlon, which is house for 135 orphan children. 

In northern Tajikistan, they gave presents to Konibodom’s boarding school # 40, regional children’s hospital in Khujand, Shurob orphanage in the Isfara district, and baby house in Istaravshan.  

The Tajik Branch of OSI/AF also makes donations to female convicts.  Yesterday, they gave presents to inmates of female penal colony in Norak and their children.
