DUSHANBE, December 15, Asia-Plus  — President Emomali Rahmon held a hook-up conference with participation of heads of the cities of Vahdat and Roghun as well as Fayzobod, Nourobod and Yovon districts and deputy head of the Khuroson district  on December 15, presidential press service said.   

The heads of town and district administrations gave the head of state an account of the state of affairs by phone.  The participants of the conference mainly focused on a progress of the autumn sowing campaign, rehabilitation and creation of gardens and vineyards, as well as improvement of settlements.   

The president set specific tasks to speed up the autumn campaign and take measures to provide educational facilities with fuel and ensure administration of local budgets.   

He also called for providing assistance to elderly and disabled people, orphan children and other vulnerable sections of the population on occasion of the upcoming Idi Qurbon holiday.
