(Courier of Tajikistan) among 33 Tajik media heads since 2007 President Emomali Rahmon with 27 votes has been named the best politician for a seventh time.

Three of those surveyed named Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi the best politician of 2007, and Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev and the First Deputy Prime Minister Asadullo Ghulomov received one vote each.  

The poll also named the most active ambassador.  Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ramazan Abdulatipov was named the most active ambassador, followed by the US Ambassador Tracy Ann Jacobson and China’s Ambassador Tzu Syuelayn (phonetically spelled).  

The Orienbonk director general Hasan Sadulloyev was named the best banker of 2007, and Behzod Fayzulloyev, director general of Babilon-T, was named the best entrepreneur of this year.
