DUSHANBE, January 12, Asia-Plus  — Asadullo Rahmonov Chairman of the Committee for TV and Radio-broadcasting, told a news conference in Dushanbe on January 11 that the Institute for Professional Development of Electronic Media Specialists is expected to open at the Committee soon.   

According to him, the committee last year carried out work to improve quality of the TV and radio programs and raise professionalism of journalists working with the Tajik national TV and radio. 

Rahmonov noted that as one of the main tasks of the committee is to promote development of democracy and creation of civil society in the country it is ready to cooperate with all sections of the population, theatres and playwrights in producing more interesting TV and radio programs.
