DUSHANBE, January 30, Asia-Plus  — Modules for training heads of medical facilities in Khatlon and Sughd provinces in key principles and practices of effective management will be worked out in the course of consultations that will be conducted in Tajikistan by Ms. Marina Budeyeva, head of team of international consultants of the company Eurohealth for health management training, Nargis Qosimova, public relations coordinator, Health Projects Implementation Unit, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.  

According to her, consultations will make heads of provincial medical facilities familiar with key principles and practices of effective management, including management of finance, and heads of provincial health directorates will be trained in methods of effective management of the whole network of medical facilities.  

 The health management training program aims to raise professionalism of health service managers, improve public health management and intensify a process of public health reforms in the country, the public relation coordinator said.    

Consultations will be conducted in Tajikistan during seven months and they are expected to cover heads of 244 medical facilities in 16 districts of Sughd and 25 districts in Khatlon.  

The project is implemented in Tajikistan under support of Health Projects Implementation Unit due to grant assistance provided by the World Bank.
