DUSHANBE, February 23, Asia-Plus – A February 23 organizational plenum of Tajikistan’s Committee for Peace and Accord elected Nasimjon Shokirov, the chairman of board of Tajikistan Development Bank (TDB), as honorable chairman of the Committee.
The plenum also elected new members of the Committee’s board and endorsed a plan of actions for 2008.
It was the first plenum of the Council after re-registration with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ).
The previous honorable chairman of the Committee for Peace and Accord was Academician Yusuf Nosirov, who died in November 2007.
