DUSHANBE, April 23, Asia-Plus  — A regular sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) of the third convocation will be held today. 

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that a number of bills and amendments made to the laws in force had been tabled to the sitting’s agenda.

As it had been reported earlier, the board (Shuro) of the Majlisi Namoyandagon considered draft laws on referendum and medicines and pharmaceutical activity at an April 21 meeting.  

The board also considered amendments to the law on state protection and support for entrepreneurship, as well as the criminal criminal-procedural and administrative codes.
