DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus – Six suicide cases have been reported in Gorno Badakhshan since the beginning of the year, Nafas Dilshodov, the head of the investigation department within the GBAO prosecutor’s office, said in an interview with Pamir Media.
He noted that in five cases, suicide had been committed by men.
The last suicide case has been reported in the village of Barsem, Shugnan district. On May 25, the 70-year-old local resident committed suicide by self-hanging.
