PANJAKENT, June 2, Asia-Plus  — The public association, Young Generation of Tajikistan, will organize a two-week summer camp for Sughd school students and teachers on healthy lifestyle at the children’s camp Zuhal in Qairoqqum in early July/

The camp, which aims to train trainers from among local school students, is part of the “Healthy Habits for Life and Participation of Youth” project.

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, the project coordinator Dmitry Fon said that the camp participants will include competitively selected 100 school students and 128 teachers from Sughd’s cities of Khujand, Chkalovsk, Panjakent and Qairoqqum as well as district of Bobojonghafurov.   

The project is implemented in cooperation with public associations Youth of the 21st Century and Triumph and is part of the national program for development of health of youth  and the UNICEF-run program “Health of Young People and HIV/AIDS,” the project coordinator said.
