DUSHANBE, July 8, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Presidents of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, China Hu Jintao, and Mongolia Nambaryn Enkhbayar will pay official visits to Tajikistan ahead of a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) that will be held in Dushanbe in late August, according to the Tajik MFA.  

At present, Tajik MFA and protocol services of these countries are jointly preparing official visit programs.

The SCO summit participants include presidents of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, leaders of Iran, India and Mongolia, which have observer status will also attend the summit, and presidents of Afghanistan and Turkmenistan have been invited to attend the summit s guests, the MFA source said.
