DUSHANBE, August 26, 2008, Asia-Plus  — Days of China Culture will be held in Dushanbe from August 29-31.   

According to the Ministry of Culture (MoC), a Chinese cultural delegation, numbering 44 persons, led by Ding Wei (phonetically spelled), an aide to the minister culture, has already arrived in Dushanbe.

Meanwhile, an exhibition of works by known Tajik cameraman and photographer Zaour Dakhte, entitled “China as Seen by Tajik Photographers,” and presentation of a book “Dreams and Expectations of Modern Culture of China” in Tajik and Chinese languages by Mr. Sun Syadjen (phonetically spelled), deputy head of China’s Popular Political Consultative Council, will be held at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe on sidelines of Days of China Culture.    

Chinese artistes are scheduled to perform concerts in Dushanbe, Tursunzoda and Varzob, the source at a MoC said.
