DUSHANBE, August 27, 2008, Asia-Plus — Tojiksodirotbonk (TSB) has also introduced the MoneyGram money transfer system, which it easier to provide fast service to enhance the customer experience. It takes as little as 10 minutes to send a MoneyGram money transfer around the world, depending on an agent”s hours of operation on the receiving end.
According to TSB’s head office in Dushanbe, the MoneyGram services are available through its 152,000 agent locations in 182 countries across the world. Introduction of this money transfer will allow meeting customers’ requirements in available and convenient money transfer services.
The commission fee rate fluctuates from 12% to 3%, depending on the amount of remittance – the larger amount of remittance the lower commission fee rate.
MoneyGram has been providing payment and financial services since 1940.
We will recall that Orienbonk was the first in Tajikistan to introduce the MoneyGram money transfer system.
TSB was established in December 1990 as the Tajik branch of the Vnesh Econom Bank of the former Soviet Union, and it initially specialized in trade and import-export banking. Later this branch was reorganized into a Joint-Stock Commercial Bank “Tajikvnesheconombank”. In June 1999 the bank was renamed and registered as Tojiksodirotbonk or TSB.
Headquartered in Dushanbe, TSB has 11 branches in the main cities of Tajikistan and covering all regions of the country. Its clients include the biggest Tajik trading companies, other enterprises, entrepreneurs, and some of the embassies and diplomatic organizations based in Dushanbe.
TSB is currently connected to the following money transfer systems: Anelik, Contact; InterExpress; Migom; Western Union; Allure; Bystraya Pochta; Unistream; Blizkon; and MoneyGram.
