DUSHANBE, December 1, 2008, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered bills requiring amendments to the administrative and criminal code at a December 1 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had also considered applications by voters from Gorno Badakhshan’s Murgab district.

These issues will be considered at a sitting of the fifth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on December 3, the spokesman said.
