DUSHNBE, December 16, 2008, Asia-Plus  — On Monday December 15, head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Sharif Said, met with visiting Iranian delegation led by Reza Saidi, manager of Tehran-based Iranian pharmaceutical company, Arvin Arman, according to the CCI press service.

The Iranian delegation arrived in Tajikistan to establish cooperation with Tajik pharmaceutical companies and seek business partners in Tajikistan.

In the course of the talks, Reza Saidi noted that their company is engaged in importing medicines from European countries and they are ready to supply the pharmaceutical product to Tajikistan.  According to him, they had previously discussed that issue with Tajik health minister.

For his part, the CCI head said that Tajikistan needs pharmaceutical product and technologies of the European quality and the medicine supply issues should be discussed with specialists.  He also suggested that Arvin Arman should participate in an exhibition entitled “Health Care” that is held in Tajikistan annually to present its products and establish contacts with its Tajik colleagues.
