DUSHANBE, February 9, 2009, Asia-Plus — By government’s resolutions new deputy interior ministers have been appointed.
According to presidential press service, by government’s resolution of February 7 Ramazon Rahimov, formerly head of the defense and public order department within president’s office, was appointed as first deputy interior minister, replacing Rauf Yusupov. As it had been reported earlier, by order issued by new interior minister on February 2 Rauf Yusupov was appointed to head the Sughd police directorate.
By another government’s resolution, Colonel Farodbek Shodmonbekov, who had previously served as deputy head of the operational-technical department within the ministry of interior, was appointed as deputy interior minister, replacing Abdujabbor Shamsov. Shamsov was relieved of his posts of deputy interior minister in connection with transfer to other job.
