DUSHANBE, March 19, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan presented its tourism exposition at an international tourism exhibition, ITB Belrin-2009, which was held in the German capital on March 11-15.

, more than 11,000 exponents from 187 countries of the world were put on display at the exhibition that was held at the Messe Berlin Complex.

Staged by the German Embassy in Dushanbe and Tajikistan’s Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs, State Tourist Company Sayoh, Association of the Tourism Support Development Organizations, as well as a number of enterprises such as Tajikaviatour, Tajikintourservice, Hamsafar Travel Company, Pamir Travel, Pamirs Eco-Cultural Tourism Association (PECTA), Travel LLC Khakin’s and some other, Tajikistan’s exposition was presented on March 11 presented, the reporter said.

Inaugurating the exposition, Tajik Ambassador to Germany, Imomudin Sattorov, in particular, noted that process of determining main priorities of development of tourism and relevant industries in Tajikistan was progressing.  A number of tourism development support programs were worked out in the country, the ambassador said.
