DUSHANBE, April 17, 2009, Asia-Plus — We are ready to participate in implementation of the Dushanbe municipal redevelopment plant, training Tajik young specialists and invest in enhancement of the construction sector in Tajikistan, Mr. Ahmad Saffarini, an architect with the design and engineering firm from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Adnan Saffarini, told journalists in Dushanbe on April 17.
According to him, the firm is ready to participate in all international tenders that Tajikistan will announce in the construction sphere.
“Representative office, the first in the Central Asian, of our company was opened in Dushanbe on April 16 and talks with representatives of the Dushanbe authorities to discuss cooperation issues were held the same day,” Mr. Saffarini said.
He noted that Tajikistan’s geographical location was very convenient and construction of roads would make the country attractive for foreign investors. “Our company that was founded by my late father has the history of half a century and we have long experience of working in the countries of the Middle East,” the businessmen said.
Mr. Saffarini also noted that tomorrow, he would hold talks with chancellors of a number of Tajik universities to discuss training of personnel for Tajik construction business. On Saturday, he will also deliver lecture at Tajik Technical University on basics of the construction business.
“Our company is able and wants to invest in training of Tajik young specialists both at universities in Tajikistan and abroad,” Saffarini said.
He also expressed gratitude to Tajik businessman Muhammadroziq Nematov, the owner of the company Orian Group working in Dubai, for invitation to visit Tajikistan and arrangement of his meetings with representatives of Tajik business circles.
