DUSHANBE, July 3, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Presentation of the public organization, Center for Anticorruption Education and Propagation, is being held in Dushanbe today.

According to the founder of the center, lawyer Aliakbar Abdulloyev, representatives of president’s office, parliament, heads of relevant government bodies, law enforcement authorities as well as representatives of international organizations active in Tajikistan and media have been invited to the center-presentation ceremony.

“The center is non-profit public organization and the main objective of establishment of the center is in assisting with revealing cases of corruption and office abuse among officials of the government and other organizations as well as providing public assistance to law enforcement agencies, other government bodies and public organizations dealing with ensuring lawfulness, maintaining law and order and strengthening crime prevention efforts,” Abdulloyev said.
