DUSHANBE, July 3, 2009, Asia-Plus  — With support of President Emomali Rahmon a three-day exhibition of Iran’s research, education and technological achievements will be held here next week, according to the Ministry of Education (MoE).

Staged by Tajik MoE in cooperation with Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Iran’s Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic republic of Iran (IRI) and Iran’s company Irtibatsazi, the exhibition opens in Dushanbe on July 6.

The main objective of the exhibition is in promoting expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between research and education facilities of the two countries.

“More than 100 senior representatives of Iranian education ministry, universities and research institutes are expected to attend the exhibition,” said the source at a MoE, “40 Iranian institutions, including universities, research centers, electronic libraries and industrial park, will put on display their achievements.”

Education Minister Abdujabbor Rahmonov, Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ali Asghar Sherdoust, CCI head Sharif Said and a number of other officials are expected to attend the exhibition on July 6.  A number of discussions will be held on the sidelines of the exhibition that will be held at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex.
