DUSHANBE, September 15, 2009, Asia-Plus  — An exhibition entitled “Golden threads of Tajik Silk” has opened at the National Kamoliddin Behzod Museum in Dushanbe today morning.

The exhibition is organized by the Museum of Traditional Silk, Ardvi-Sura, at the Research Institute for Art Studies under financial support of the Culture and Art Program of the Tajik Branch of Open Society Institute/Assistance Foundation (OSI/AF-Tajikistan).

Silk cloths and products from them as well as materials on history, modern culture and traditional crafts of Tajikistan have been put on display in the exhibition, according to the OSI/AF-Tajikistan 

The “Golden Threads of Tajik Silk” exposition is the winner of the competition “The Masterpieces of Museums of Tajikistan” organized by the OSI/AF-Tajikistan’s Culture and Art Program.
