DUSHANBE, September 30, 2009, Asia-Plus  — A number of staff changes were introduced at a September 29 meeting reviewing the draft national budget for 2010, according to presidential press service.

Ozoda Rahmonova (the daughter of President Rahmon), formerly head of the MFA consular directorate, was appointed deputy foreign minister.

Besides, Yusuf Sultonnoyobov was appointed deputy agriculture minister, Ms. Mavsuma Muinova was appointed deputy chairperson of the Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs, and Ms. Zuhro Okimbekova was appointed deputy director of the Agency for Construction and Architecture.

Akbar Fayozov was appointed director general of the state unitary enterprise Vostokredmet and Usmonali Usmonov was appointed director of the Unit for Implementation of Hydropower Projects.

Lutfullo Davlatov was appointed director of the national TV channel Safina, replacing Mahmadsaid Pirov.  Mahmadsaid Pirov was appointed to head the film studio Tojikfilm.
