DUSHANBE, December 8, 2009, Asia-Plus — An average the euro-somoni exchange rate slightly rose at the inter-bank currency market in Tajikistan from 1:6.48 on December 3 to 1:6.55 on December 7, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).

In the meantime, average exchange rates of the dollar and the Russian ruble (RR) against the somoni at the country’s inter-bank currency market have remained unchanged over the past four days and have amounted to 1:4.35 and 10:1.48 respectively.

The dollar-somoni exchange rate in the currency exchange offices in Dushanbe and the regions was 1:4.35 on December 7, Tajik central banks press service reported.

As far as the exchange rates of the Euro and RR are concerned, they are now 1:6.47 and 10:1.47 respectively.

As of December 2, average exchange rates of USD, Euro and RR in the currency exchange offices of Dushanbe were 1:4.34, 1:6.45 and 10:1.47 respectively.
