DUSHANBE, December 18, 2009, Asia-Plus  — An organization of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDPT) for Dushanbe has decided to set up a special commission to study the process of construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power plant, Usmon Soleh, the head of the PDPT information department, said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

“The commission members are currently at the Roghun site to closely monitor the construction process and reveal existing problems,” said Soleh, “If it turns out that they are experiencing shortage of personnel, our party will try to provide the construction site with local skilled specialists.”
