In the meantime, head of one of business development support organizations of Tajikistan told Asia-Plus that they would discuss a broad range of issues related to problems facing Tajik business community.   “We, in particular, plan to bring the tax collection, customs procedure and administrative barrier issues to president’s attention,” the source said.

“During a meeting with the president that took place two years ago, we submitted for consideration to the president a number of proposals that would promote removing obstacles in the way of development of entrepreneurship in the country; however, only eight of them have been implemented to this day,” the source added.

Besides, the meeting is also expected to discuss participation of Tajikistan’s business community in completing construction of the Roghun hydroelectric power plant (HPP).
