DUSHANBE. May 27. “Asia-Plus” — Tajik air carrier TajikAir is about to launch the first ever regular flight that will link Dushanbe and Kiev.

According to the air company, the first air jet with 15 passengers will depart today from the Dushanbe airport to the Ukrainian city of Borispol at 20:50 local time. “The flight will be carried out by Boeing 737-500. Flights to Kiev will be carried out every Thursday and flights from Kiev back to Dushanbe are scheduled for every Friday,” the source has said, adding that the company is also planning to launch another regular flight to the Ukrainian city of Simpheropol.

The ticket will cost 350 Euro.

Recently TajikAir has finished the final round of talks on the opening of regular flights that link Tajikistan with Ukraine. Tajik company will also sell services provided by the Ukrainian KIY AVIA.

According to the recently signed contract, one of the biggest Ukrainian air carriers KIY AVIA will cooperate with TajikAir in the field of sale of air tickets, cargo transportations and tourism. Network of KIY AVIA has more than 60 air and travel service centers located in all regional centers and big cities of Ukraine.
