Khatlon governor report to president on the repeated crop sowing in the area

DUSHANBE, July 20, 2010, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with Khatlon Governor Ghaybullo Afzal today morning to discuss the pace of agricultural development in the province, according to presidential press service.

Khatlon governor reported to the president on the ongoing grain-harvesting campaign and the repeated crop’s sowing in the area.

By president’s instructions the repeated crop’s sowing must be completed in all regions of the country until August 10.

The president also ordered the Khatlon governor to pay a special attention to issues related to preparations for the winter period and providing the population with natural gas and coals.
