KHUJAND, August 6, 32010, Asia-Plus  — 90,000 bushes of Indian hemp have been discovered and destroyed in Kuhistotni Mastchoh district, Sughd province.

According to the Sughd police directorate, officers from the anti-narcotics squad at the local police directorate discovered 90,000 bushes of wild Indian hemp in the Charkhoi area of the Langar Ghoron jamoat while carrying out the anti-drug operation, dubbed Kuknor-2010 (Poppy 2010) in the district.

The discovered hemp bushes were burnt.
