DUSHANBE, September 8, Asia-Plus — Activities of twelve beauty and hairdressing salons have been suspended in Dushanbe as they failed to comply with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, Kholmahmad Nazarov, the deputy director of the Republican Center for Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision, said.
According to him, inspections by specialists from the Dushanbe sanitary and epidemiological station have recorded numerous instances of violation of sanitary requirements in those salons.
“Many of them even do not have elementary conditions for client servicing,” said Nazarov, “They do not have cold and hot waters, are not provided with sewerage system and do not have special equipment for sterilization of instruments.”
Administrative action has been imposed upon managers of these salons and they have been fined a total of 1,170 somoni, he added.
