DUSHANBE, November 2, 2010, Asia-Plus — A two-week training for 14 law enforcement officers from Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan on conducting tactical operations began at the Drug Control Agency (DCA) in Dushanbe yesterday, according to the DCA press service.
Experts from the Turkish International Academy Against Drugs and Organized Crime are conducting the training, which is organized in the framework of the NATO-Russia Council”s pilot project for counter-narcotics training of Central Asian and Afghan personnel.
