DUSHANBE, June 28, 2011, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed a draft law requiring amendments to the RT Law “On Weapons” at a June 28 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said the board also considered draft laws on prevention of domestic violence and weather forecast related activity as well as bills requiring amendments to the laws on the national budget for 2011 and psychotherapy.

According to him, these and some other issues will be considered at the next sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation that will take place on June 30.  It will be the last sitting of the lower house of the parliament before the summer recess that will last through September.
