DUSHANBE, July 26, 2011, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon today attended a ceremony of opening of a new school in the village of Chorbogh, Khatlon’s Khuroson district.

According to the presidential website, 7 million somoni have been allocated from president’s reserve fund for construction of this school that accommodates 900 pupils.

On the same day, Emomali Rahmon inaugurated a new school in the Yakkatut jamoat, Khatlon’s Jomi district.  The school has been built due to funds allocated from the national budget and a preferential loan provided by the Asian Development bank (ADB).  A total cost of the project is 11.2 million somoni.
