DUSHANBE, November 8, 2011, Asia-Plus  — The Ministry of Finance (MoF) has projected budget indicators for the coming two years and submitted them for consideration to the government and the parliament.

The source at a MoF says an annual national economic growth is projected to stand at 7.0-8.0 percent in 2013-2014 and inflation for 2013-2014 is expected to stand at 7.0-10 percent.

“The revenue part of the budget is expected to stand at 11.8 billion somoni in 2013 and 13.2 billion somoni in 2014,” the source said.

We will recall that the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) approved the national budget for 2012 on November 2.  The revenue part of the national budget for 2012 will stand at 10.16 billion somoni (equivalent to more than 2.1 billion U.S. dollars) and the expenditure part is expected to stand at 10.34 billion somoni (some 2.2 billion U.S. dollars).
