DUSHANBE, November 15, 2011, Asia-Plus  — Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Russia Abdulmajid Dostiyev has met with State Secretary and Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Grigory Karasin, the source in the Tajik MFA says.

According to him, the sides discussed issues related to seeking solution to problems arising in bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia, including detention and sentencing of two pilots of Rolkan Investments Ltd in Tajikistan.

“The Russian side assured Tajik diplomat that the deportation of illegal Tajik labor migrants from Russia is not connected with the sentencing of Russian pilot in Tajikistan,” the source said.
